Mr Inomata, father of a nine-year-old boy
When I tried to film the footrace last year, I missed the moment when my son crossed the line because someone's head got in the way, and my son was pretty upset with me...
So at this year's Sports Day I was determined to get it right. I thought it would look good if I zoomed in on my son as he came around the last turn before the finishing line, but I ended up zooming out, so in the end the image turned out quite shaky.
Afterwards, I showed the footage to my parents. They have a high definition TV, but we bought our video camera about ten years ago when we got married, and so the image looked pretty rough and grainy. It made me realize I really should get around to replace our video camera with a new high definition model.
