Everio Video Hunters! Capturing your riding style with a motorcycle-mounted camera

Hi there, it's Toshi again.
After publishing my piece on the in-car video shoot last time, I got a comment from one of our employees who said: "I'm actually a bike enthusiast myself, and I've taken video with the Everio mounted on my motorcycle."
This I had to see! I asked him to send me the video right away.
Since this is exactly the kind of response I hope for when I write this blog, I decided to introduce this motorcycle-mounted video into this issue.

Everio Video Hunters! In-Car Video Challenge!

For any car lover who gets hold of the Everio, there is no doubt a wish to video the sights while cruising in your favorite vehicle. Actually, when I (Toshi), went off with Ayako on her GPS recording shoot as her support driver, we really wanted to try in-vehicle video recording and decided to give it a shot. I will be covering our discoveries in this blog. We used the GZ-HM550 for this recording.

Receiving 2010 TIPA Award!

As most of our readers already know, JVC's 2010 high-end camcorder GZ-HM1 has been awarded the Best Expert Camcorder prize in the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA)'s prestigious TIPA Awards 2010. JVC is receiving TIPA for the first time in 3 years. Last time, GZ-HD7 was awarded in the same category in 2007.

Everio Video Hunters! Journey on the Noto Express – Part 2

As I finished recording the Noto entering the platform, it was time to get on board. For this ride, I reserved the Ladies Car, a women's only car on the train.
The Ladies Car provides many amenities, including curtaining at the wash sinks and women-only toilets. It also doesn't let people outside of the train to see inside, so that women can feel safe and enjoy the train ride.
One hour after leaving Ueno. The lights went dim and the train fell silent. As for myself, I took a nap for a while as well.
